Clip for metal roofing is used to attach metal panel to a substrate, such as a roof deck or other material. Also known as cleats, these are used to fasten whatever is underneath the metal panels, like purlins, before the panel is attached. It eliminates the need to drive screws through the panels themselves, thus eliminating the associated issues like thermal-induced hole elongation, seal deterioration, and fastener corrosion.

Designed for secure fastening of mechanical lock style standing seam / concealed fastener metal roofing systems. All DMI panel clips are designed to meet FBC 1506.7 corrosion resistance requirement. Panel clips can be manufactured to fit panels from most brands and styles of roll forming machines. Please specify make and model of machine when ordering. Most styles are engineered to give fastener relief, and heights of clips are listed in panel height. 1” tall panel would use 1-1/8” tall clip, 1-1/2” panel would use 1-5/8” clip, etc.

EXPANSION CLIPS FOR MECHANICAL LOCK PANEL CLIPS Designed to allow for thermal expansion while providing secure fastening of mechanical lock style standing seam / concealed fastener metal roofing systems. The expansion style clips are available in 3 different styles; one piece pre -assembled style, a two piece job site assembled and a butterfly style two piece job site assembled. All roof clips are designed to meet FBC 1506.7 corrosion resistance requirements.
